How bad is it for you when you lose a job ?

Today I lost as one-day-a-week job I had for every Saturday. I feel so dislocated and out-of-pocket it isn't even funny. How do you feel when you've lost a job ? does it make the day just a dislocation scene for you ?

It's never good to lose a one day or five day job. Because we depend on those jobs for our food and shelter and well being. I am sorry to hear that you no longer have that job. I lost a full time fourty hour a week job four months ago. It is really a hardship, and I am living it every day. I hope you soon find a replacement job.

For me it really depends on a couple of things. If I actually like the job, or possibly love it and for some reason lost it, yes it would really bother me for a while. If the job was paying a decent amount of money, or enough to really make a difference in my income, then certainly I would truly miss it, and if the job was my only income or at least majority of my income, I would really really miss it and need it back right away. Haha! I know some people that donate plasma for part of their living expenses, and if something happens like their blood pressure is too high or didn't drink enough water, they couldn't donate, and misses just that one day would literally put a dent in their budget. So in that case I would even miss donating if it were a huge part of my income.

Losing a job no matter if it's one day or a week, it is horrible. I am underemployed, and life for me has being tough. I just withdrew money from my 401k to pay the mortgage. I am optimistic things will change, and I count my blessings everyday.

Its disastrous not having a job because you dont have means to have and spend money for yourself. You will feel useless in that case because you dont have accomplishment in your day to day life. Careers and jobs are the one that mold us and it makes us obtain personal growth. Accomplishments means satisfaction to make us realize our worth in this world and in the society.

I want to add up something. Jobs gave us money to earn for our family that means if theres no job then how will you and your family survive in this world. Money is important for survival. Money provides us with food, shelter and clothes. Those are the basic necessities of life.

I had mixed feelings when I lost my job. I had gotten to the place where I hated my job, but it's what I'd known for years. Also, my pay went down considerably.
