Parent sending son to "do his dirty work" OR Obama's "Youth Corps" in action?

When a McCain supporter got tired of having someone come onto his property; STEAL his campaign signs supporting McCain; and replace them with Obama signs - he decided to get to the bottom of the mystery and teach the thief a lesson.
He hooked the new sign up to the electrical system for an electric pet fence AND set up a suveillance camera.
The culprit was caught on film. A 9 yr old boy carrying an Obama sign came into his yard and grabbed the McCain sign. Needless to say, the boy let go in a hurry.
Here is a link to the story and there is a link on this page to the video of this event on YouTube, so you can see for yourself - http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/oct/31/caught-tape-boy-shocked-after-man-electrifies-camp/
My question is simple - did his parents provide the Obama sign and put him up to it (since as a child he would not be sent to jail if caught) OR is Obama's campaign recruiting children and sending them out to steal and replace these signs?
Since this was not the first time (just the first time caught on tape), where was a 9 yr old getting all of these replacement Obama signs from? Didn't the boy's parents think something was going on when their son went out roaming the neighborhood with political campaign signs?
Obama has said in several of his speaches that he plans to "mobilize our youth" and use them for "community service"; is THIS his idea of community service?
What do YOU think about this incident?

I think that's just a stupid kid. I mean, if the parents were really doing that, its making Democrats look bad. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, doesn't everyone learn the in kindergarten? I mean, if they really believe they are going to change anyone's vote that way, I don't understand how they can ever get dressed in the morning without any help.

Unfortunately, there are many people all over the globe who believe that "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion" as long as it agrees with THEIR own opinion. As soon as it differs, they decide the poor person is "misguided" and needs to be shown the "error of their ways" and some of them are actually willing to resort to violence to change the other person's opinion.
I doubt whoever put this child up to it actually believed it would change the homeowner's mind; but, it was that many FEWER signs supporting McCain and that many more signs up supporting Obama.
If the number of signs is even then it appears that support for both candidates is even; but, if the person putting up the sings for one party REMOVES the signs for the other party's candidate; then it looks like more people support one candidate over the other; giving people driving by a false impression.
