Education standards in UK have ben declining over many years. This is due to the changing approach to education. 30 years ago bouys were outperforming girls on the exam results used then. Now thanks to the feminisation of the education system, it is the other way round. Removing male role models from society is of course one factor that the feminists have concentrated on - the most important male role model is the father and now up to half of kids grow up with no male role model or not the natural father fully involved in their lives. The replacements are not there - 2% of child minders, 11% of primary school teachers are male. It is not until secondary school that there are equal numbers of male and femal e teachers and by then it is largely too late the feminsits have one. So what ahs changed? It wa discovered early on that boys do better in cramming for closed book exams than girls. Girls do better in 'continual assessment' of preparing work at hiome and being marked over a longer period. Boys do not do so well. The system was changed to the continual assessment approach and now girls do better. Ins oem schools, boys were made to sit at the back and girls at the front to ensure the girls got a better education. Other changes include the approach to teaching maths for example where instead of elarning by rote which boys preferred, it is now done 'spatially' and you have to visulaise the numbers - something grils are better at. As a result we are producing a nation of people with large numbers of qualifications but who do not actually know anything. Around 15% of the polulation are functionally illiterate. Look at the credit crunch - why do so many people borrow money without knowing that they cannot afford to ever pay it back! Mainly women I bet! Jo0in me inc reating a fairer world for all our children and end the discrimination against fathers.
