On Halloween Night I was very jumpy and easily startled. I was baby sitting my little cousin so that her mama could go out and celebrate her birthday. The night went well up until the late evening/morning hours. I could not get Taylor to go to sleep! We were up and I was watching scary movies of course. She is very young, only 13 months old, the movies did not effect her. I kept hearing noises outside. It sounded as if someone was walking across my back porch. Now this scared me and I got up and checked the door and the patio doors several times. Then the freaky part was my little cousin kept looking toward the sliding glass door and smiling and grinning. At first after seeing this I thought that it was possibly one of my kids playing a prank on me. So, Taylor and I went to check on all of them. They were all in bed sleeping. I was so freaked out that I even woke my fiance up and made him go outside and check around. Poor guy had to get up early to go to work. Eventually things settled down and I got Taylor to bed. I don't know if I was just freaked out because of all of the scary movies I had watched or what. Has this ever happened to you? Was it a case of an over active imagination or do you get premonitions that something bad is going to happen?
