What is the high speed in internet?

My internet connection speed is 750kbps. I can download stuffs at 100kBps but sometimes faster. But my average download speed is 50kBps. According to speedtest.net, my download speed is 850kbps and my upload speed is 450kbps.

I have Airtel 256 unlimited broadband which costs me Rs-750/ month. it is good to have unlimited broadband to learn more and more on internet

mine is 4MBps,with cable internet, which I think will be improved after a few years.

I have cable internet and I can't imagine anything faster! When I go up north to visit my parents they have phone lines and I get so frustrated waiting for pages to load! I remember just sitting there and thinking there was something wrong with the computer! Even in a economic crush in the area I would cancel my phone service and cut back on food before I would cancel my cable internet!

mine at home.... max about 7.2mbps ... but im only got average 7mbps .....

According to sina.com, the fastest was recorded on Dec 31, 2006. It was 9.08 Gbps. The theroratical speed limit is 10 Gbps. Thank the research team at the University of Tokyo. My isp offers speeds from 1-6 Gbps, mine usually hovers around 3.5 when I do a speed test.
