get togethers

Well today we are having a poker day. We have invited some friends over to have some adult time. Sit around play a friendly game of poker, drink coffee, snack around and talk about nothing. We try to do this once or twice a month. Does anyone else have get togethers?? Like BBQs, or charades, or whatever??? In the summer months we like to have BBQs.

We had a bbq last summer and invtied over some friends. It seems like that the hopstiality is never returned though so we don't do it anymore. It gets old being the only ones wwo would do anything and no one wanted to help pay for any of it either. Hope you had a good time and won your poker game.

It is good to have a get together once in a while and beat it up and have a ball. It is important to have like minded people for the gathering and keep some people who do not gel together out. It is fun to organise some party games and have a lot of fun. A few adult games too are interestingif children are not around, but can be fun only if everyone is sporting and does not take offence.

Sure we do that often. One of the times we have the most people over is the 4th of July. The fireworks display for our town is right in our back yard. So we have 15-20 people over. Food, friends fireworks. It is a wonderful time. We look forward to it every year.
