Dictionary.com defines flummoxed as “Informal To confuse; perplex.” I have never in my life felt this emotion until today. I was calling people about voting on Tuesday; I got a list of Ohio voters. This one guy I called said, “I don’t know whether I’m to voter for a n-gger or hillbilly McCain.” I’m not kidding, he actually said the N word. It disturbed me so much I needed to stop calling folks for awhile. I wonder if this some sort of McCain plot, disturb Obama volunteers so they stop reminding voters to vote. Well. If that’s the case they won’t win with me. I’ll return to calling later this afternoon! What do you think?

If your question was turned around and you were asking if it was some sort of Obama plot to disturb McCain volunteers so they'd stop making calls, you would get all kinds of agreement and support from the name calling kool aid drinkers on that side of the fence. But, I doubt you'll see any Obama supporters agreeing that it's an evil plan. I think that there are jerks in every state, county and town in this country and that you had the misfortune to call one of them. Hang in there!

I don't actually think it was a plot. I was just joking!

I can flummox you a bit more, but in a more positive way. Just read this blog entry of mine: http://clarusvisum.blogspot.com/2008/10/republicans-you-got-your-work-cut-out.html

I had a thought way back when McCain picked Palin that bigots won't have anyone to vote for. On one hand there is a black man and on the other a woman, the two people they would hate to see rule.To tell the truth, I thought conservatives would have the same problem but one here on My Lot told me he was okay with the McCain-Palin ticket. But there are people who can't vote for either.

I'm sorry, I'm from Ohio and I'm not really surprised. I live in Toledo, it's a bigger city with a very mixed population; blacks, whites, arabs, ect ect. Racism is very much alive and I remember my son being 3 at the park and hearing the N word for the first time, then he used it, then I washed his mouth out with soap, then he never used it again. Guess more mothers should wash their kids mouths out. Keep up the great work. I have been volunteering on Obama's campaign and it does get tough but, keep up the great work! Don't let morons upset you.
