Thrown a party while you were gone. ? Mommy, who is me of course, had to go to the store and run errands. Normaly , this is very uneventful but not this Saturday. I returned home to find, pillows all over the floor, afghans strung about the living room,,,,and then there came the kitchen....ugh....they decided to investigate the garbage and this meant spreading all over my kitchen floor. On top of that, they also left a blessing....I think they were haveing a fit because I left them as well as a party. I had to sweep and mop right away of course, and guess who put their heads down hide on the couch under their blankey during the cleanup? Knew they were in troouble...oh yes....and lil chihuahua was also right in the big middle of the bash...funny...noone was still in the kitchen when I came through the door....they heard me and they knew,,,,very smart poochies.....lol

Oh gosh! I laughed so hard when I read this. Sounds as if they had a great time! How many of them do you have? did they also invite the other dogs and cats from your neighbors? I can just picture everyone escaping from the pet door as you pull up and your dogs running to hide! Don't punish them too much!

Fortunatly, nothing was damaged and i THINK AS SOON AS I WALKED OUT THE DOOR , THATS WHEN THE PARTY STARTED. THEY HAD A PLAN AND ME LEAVING WAS THEIR GREEN LIGHT ...AND GO THEY DID.....dont worry, they are my spoiled babies....I cant be too hard on them but couldnt let them see me laughing either, they would go for it again...lol

Oh no, that does sound like they did have a big party and had fun. I am at my daughters right now and my grandson plays on youth football and yesterday morning he had a game at 9:00am. My daughter took him to the field at 8:30 then come back and got my husband and I and my son was just getting up and he come up later. Well my daughter always leaves her dogs outside when she is going to be away for awhile or no one is here to keep them inside and my son didn't know and he left our Italian Greyhound, my daughter's rat terrier and her boxer plus her indoor cat in the house. They were left alone in the house for over and hour and figured they would have a big party but they did really good and not a thing happened, or at least if it did we haven't come across it yet. hahaha

That made me laugh, thank you my friend, I can just picture it! Shame you didn't have a camera installed to film them! I bet they had a ball! I don't know children! What are they like eh! Good job you didn't have gatecrashers! Wild parties, while the cat's away the mice will play! I can just see the look on their faces! Tells it all doesn't it! If only animals could talk eh! Our animals used to do that but they would fight over what they brought in, takeaways usually and the poor unsuspecting animal usually a shrew or a mouse would be in pieces, literally! Or they'd be fur and feathers everywhere as it was usually a free for all! The looks on their faces would say, well you weren't around to amuse us so we had to make our own entertainment!

Haven't you trained them to use a mop and bucket? Mind you I think they'd make more mess than they started! Yes I guess they still deserve a stocking, we can forgive them because we love them too much ;0)

Last time Hubby and I both left was to take him to the Dr. When we came home Morgana had stuff pulled out everywhere including my sewing stuff. Kind of a "see what you get for leaving me" thing. Most of the time Hubby is home with her even when I'm gone. ~~IN SEARCH OF PEACE WITHIN~~ **AGAINST THE STORMS, I WILL STAND STRONG**

Ours will be watched very closely because they have conspiring minds that lean in the directions of wild parties.....and the chihuahua does type on the computer and that scares me because they could be checking out wild poodles.com lol

Yes, my miniature pinschers have thrown a party when I was gone before. I swear one time they invited the whole neighborhood. My Max is most terrible about it. I think it is because he is so young yet and doesn't accpet tking responsibility like my Daisy girl. Max has a tendacy of doing the trash thing as well. We have to place it up high when we leave. But pretty soon the cage will be put back up so he can't thow them parties anymore.

They are indeed very smart. When I find one of my three has misbehaved I do not know which one was the culprit as they all look guilty, which I quite sure they do on purpose to protect each other!
