No, I'm not at all excited about Christmas, sad to say. I've been without a job since April and I have a house payment and all the other bills that I have to pay every month. As far as how I'm going to spend it; with family, lke usual. But I'm not looking forward to the holidays at all.

I am in agreement with you Marty, I lost my job in June, and Christmas basically will just be another day. Nothing special is planned, I may drop by my mom's for a few. I hope the coming of the holiday do not depress me, because each day that passes, depresses me more, because of the lack of money, and the bills do not stop because you do not have money. I am praying that things will get better soon, but I have not been able to find a job, that would even cover my rent. I pray that things will get better for you as well.

much easier sasid than done. I signed up with espress pros and they got me in to a great company. Me and this other woman who got in at the same time went through training, started working. We worked for a week on a project that they brought us in for. On Thursday, we were give a schedule that us working every day next week. But at the end of our shift, the manager brought us in, said there isn't much activity on that project, I'm not going to have you come in tomorrow. On Fridasy we were told to come in on Monday. At the end of our shift, again we were brought in and told we were not going to come in tomorrow and I don't know about the rest of the week. We didn't go in that week or the next. Last week I interviewed with another company but they decided on someone else. I live in Michigan. Things are bad. Things are real bad.

i absolutely love christmas and the whole season but for us it is a very busy time between parties and church activities and family members and the like. the trick is for me to start early. i am already about 60 percent done my christmas shopping and have even already started wrapping everything as well. our christmas will be spent with a plethora of family members.

I am looking forward of spending Christmas with my family.. i just bought Christmas decors and i am keyed up to put them up aroud the house.. we never failed to celebrate the "Noche Buena" because it's been considered as one of family's tradition.. plus, we consider it as very special day because it's Our Lord Jesus Christ's birthday.. Every 25th of Decemebr we open the presents under the Christmas tree and give some small gifts to children in our village.. =)

I really like christmas. It is my favorite holiday. I will be cooking a dinner and we will have lots of family here. There will be my mom and step dad, my mother in law, hopefully all 8 kids and maybe some of their partners, my sister in law and her spouse. We do this every year and I enjoy it.

oh yes... i am always excited for christmas... not because of the gifts or holidays like many people are talking about... but more about the reflections about the greatest gift that i receive from God, my Saviour which is salvation... He humbles Himself to come into this world as a human being like me to save me from my sins... this is what christmas is all about for me... take care and have a nice day...

Hello Alleroid! I as well adore adore christmas... This is actually the most wonderfull time to give pleasure and love to others... Will we can do it everyday as a matter of fact, but it in this time of year where we can show it further. I love helping others more than ever those homeless children... I pray also that one day, I can have or build my own foundation. If I were to choose whom will I spend my Christmas? It would probably be with those needing individual... Since I always spend my time with my mom and dad, I guess it would be the perfect time for me to spend it with less fortunate one.

As unfortunate as it is true the economy is affecting everyone on a global scale of what they can afford to give for christmas this year and I think it is only fair to say that because people in general will most likely not spend so much on gifts as they might have 5 to 10 years ago it is really going to be a difficult time for everyone but getting back to your question I think I will probably end up accumulating whatever I can scrape up here on My Lot to spend for gifts online for people next year but this year I think i will wait till black friday to pick up deals on marked down merchandise and shop at the dollar store spending about $100.00 total and putting together gift baskets and putting them under the christmas tree as far as family socializing is concerned I will most likely visit my aunt and uncle in New Jersey and celebrate christmas with them

yeah. youre right that some people will not celebrate their Christmas because of the economy of their country. like in our country, our politicians corrupt the money, that's why many in my country is in the poverty line.

Yes, I'm really excited with it, it's the most I anticipated holiday ever. Though, spending my Christmas this year will be quite the same last year, spending it with my family, I'm still pretty excited about it and the things will happen that day. Also, even though, it will be pretty expensive day as well, giving gifts to my family, friends, godchildren and all, I still anticipated it and very excited with it. We're doing nothing big in Christmas, just the same, eating food and sharing gifts, but though it was simple, the thought that we will be spending another fun-filled Christmas eve, are quite enough for me to feel excited about it.

No. It's just like any other ordinary day, except people celebrate something. I dont know why I dont get excited during christmas, maybe because I have no one to celebrate with, and, I have nothing intresting to do that day. whew!
