have you tried shisha?

bollywood with my friends - this was taken in october 2007 when my friends and i had a nighout. it was in bollywood bar in Greenbelt3, Makati, Philippines. we tried the bar's shisha (strawberry flavor).

Shisha, as known in Arabic countries, is water pipe smoke. It is also known as hookah in other countries. Shisha is a classy way to smoke tobacco flavorful puffs of smoke derived from dried fruits. It has different flavors like vanilla, honey, strawberry, watermelon and many more. It is operated by indirect heat and water filtration - a bowl topped by charcoal on top of punctured tinfoil. People smoke through the hose attached to it. Here in the Philippines, various high-end bars and clubs offer this to its customers. It has become more popular to college students and young adults. I've tried shisha once in a bar when my friends and I had a nightout. It is flavorful and doesn't taste and feel like smoking cigarette or tobacco.

I love shisha! Before I got married, I had lots of time to go out at night for dinners and clubbing and one of the agendas in my group would be a round of shisha and we would always try a different flavors all the time. Some of my favorite flavors are strawberry, apple and mint and sometimes we would mix them up together and that would give a new flavors for us to enjoy. The nice thing about shisha is that we do not get addicted to it, at least as far as I am concerned as I do not have the urge to get one even though I have stopped going for it since I got married. It is not because my wife does not like it but with the birth of our first son, who is now only 1.5 years old, we could not really find the time to do that anymore. May be we might just buy a set that we can use at home if we really want that but that is not high in the list of things that we need at the moment. Cheers!

Shisha was once very famous in my country. I can see it everywhere at the street of pubs. Last time, there was even a portable shisha and they got it right in front of my campus. I heard there were many flavors for it but I did not ever try it.

no. i've never tried shisha. and i'm also not a smoker. but i would like to try. but i dont like that to be my vice.
