I'm more into the RPG games so I'm going to go with FFX. I also liked some of the 2D fighting games on there too, like Guilty Gear.

My favorite game of all time for the PS2 is the Jak and Daxter trilogy. It is a trilogy of games that slowly builds up the storyline and has some twists and turns in the plot. The storyline is not important yet engaging enough to bring in the gamer so that they know the plot as well. The game combines action, fighting, role-playing, and racing into one fun, addicting trilogy. The first one is called Jak and Daxter: Precursor Legacy, and the second and third ones are called Jak 2 and Jak 3, respectively.
