Do you believe that imagination is better than knowledge?

I think that the better option here is logic instead of knowledge and it's even better than imagination if we're pertaining to exclusivity - like you can only have logic but not imagination or imagination but not logic. I think a combination of both are great. I think when you have a vast amount of knowledge on anything, your imagination grows and you are able to see things differently and in a new light.

I think that both are good. It is true that we need knowledge, and knowledge is important. But imagination can be just as important as knowledge. You can have both and be just as intelligent and good as someone has great knowledge.

You have to have some knowledge at least to create some invention or whatever ideas you got from your imagination. Of course the imagination that lead us to some point whether it is a good one or not. But with imagination without knowledge is nothing but a dreams but nothing be done about it. Knowledge is important for us to imagine more on what we want to go further with.

I am not sure which is better, knowledge or imagination? But for sure, imagination makes life more beautiful. Imagination is a process of building new images by changing the phenomena in memory, or combining the past experence with new contents. An famous scientist once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge, because knowledge is limited, while imagination covers everything in the world, which pushes forward the progress of society and is the source of knowledge evolution."
