What do you do on weekends?

Do you have a special family day? Do you go on outings on the weekends?
My weekends are busy, Saturdays my children have their activities. At 10am my daughter has baton lessons. This past weekend just ended my boy's soccer games, and occasionally we have birthday parties to go to, as we did this weekend. Hubby gets home around 6pm on Saturday, which is early for him.
Sundays are our family day. We try to go on an outing each week, but sometimes we can't afford to, or can't think of where to go. So yesterday we grabbed a bucket of KFC and sat home watching a family movie.
What does your family do on weekends?

Weekends here are pretty mello. My husband and boys work, so it is just my daughter and I. We go for groceries on Saturday and then she usually will have a friend over while I clean the house.
Sundays is church, then my daughter and I usually grab a bite to eat and come home and play a game or watch a movie.
Next Saturday my husband took the day off and my daughter is invited to 2 birthday parties 1-4 and 4-7! Both at the movie theater! That means my husband and I will have from 1-7 free!!! WE won't know what to do:)

That must be so nice! We haven't had an afternoon without the kids in.... well, a long time. The last time was actually when we had company, so it wasn't me and hubby alone, we had a 3rd wheel, lol.

We do absolutely naff all on the weekend. I would love to go out, but it has turned really cold now so it is no fun to go out in the cold. We just stay in and play games, and currently I am teaching the three youngest to knit. I love KFC, I think that this next weekend we should have one of those!

KFC is hubby's favorite, but I have to be in the right mood, so we don't have it all that often. He mentioned it yesterday when we were deciding what to have for dinner, and I just thought it had been long enough and sounded pretty good. It was the perfect dinner for a lazy, Sunday afternoon.

we are usually busy doing something or another on the weekend, whether it be grocery shopping or family or church activities. this past weekend friday night we went to the mall (no, our daughters didnt want to go trick or treating) saturday, our youngest daughter had to be at church for 10 am to work on stuff for our christmas play and hubby and i went grocery shopping (our oldest daughter had gone for a weekend sleepover at a friends) then after picking up our younger daughter we had to clean our house.
sundays, we go to church in the morning (our church doesnt have evening services) and we had all of my hubbys family at our house yesterday (21 people) and after they were gone - we collapsed!

MY hubby works during the weekdays and the only time he has for the kids is on weekends as sometimes he even works at night during work days. SOmetime if it is payday, we do our grocery shopping on the weekends and we go out and dine outside. we also go visit my in laws during the weekends, but most of the time we just stay on our room and do nothing.
