I am a mother of three children ages 11, 9, and 5. The kids are in so many different activities and my question is how do mom's get alone time? My alone time consists of about 5 minutes each day and this is the ride to and from work? Does anyone have any ideas?

I send my kids to bed a bit earlier and then I get alone time. I take an hour or so at night. And in the morning I get up about a half an hour earlier. You need to fit the time in for yourself.

Alone time? what aone time??? LOL Just Kidding, now that my boys are getting older it's a little easier, and also since I'm a stay at home mom, I'm busy with cleaning and cooking and I take college classes online, I always have something to do, and it seems like all of a sudden nothing is really done and the kids and their dad are home and I'm taking care of their needs. but if i get really stressed out and just need a little down time, I take a bath, or go in my room and read a book. I also like to scrapbook but the boys like to also, mostly they just play with the stuff but it's fun for them, so we do it together or I do it when they are sleeping! they are 9 and 6, and now my 9 yr old is starting basketball so we will have that added to our schedules! But it's fun, and my kids come first, they grow up so fast that I try to spend as much time with them as I can, then they will be gone and I will have so much alone time that I will probably get bored and miss all the running around and being busy! when our daughters were younger (they are now 11 and 15) my alone time used to be when i did the dishes. i cranked up my tunes and enjoyed my time, now that the girls are older, it is easier to get time for myself and for my hubby. our daughters dont do stuff at night (except church related stuff) and that saves US from having to drive them around every where...
