I've been absent to work for two consecutive Mondays now. And now I'm dead,[one because Koreans are very strict with attendance, second my salary is doomed, third I don't even have a reason why was I absent for work] have you ever felt like not coming to work anymore? how not to get sick of it. please help, thanks.

well try to do something new..anything create a new technique of finishing your work invent new ways of developping your company..etc etc try all you can, you can come up with real creative ways to refresh your mind and to re-give you the will to keep working. But, if with all the serious attempts you still couldn't love your job again then I think your inner mind is giving you a message that it's time to do something else, to start a new era of your career. So start looking for new jobs or maybe start your own business. Hope I helped, good luck.

that's a very nice suggestion. but I don't think I can re-creat something new in the office. I feel like I'm just a simple, ordinary employee.lol. Guess I'll go for the next one, I need to find a new job or move to the next step of my career. I hope everything will be fine then. thanks for the response.

I did feel the same way too... GUESS WHAT I DID??? I submit my resignation letter after a series of deep thinking. (I am not suggesting you do the same) I just believe that WORK STARTS WHEN YOU STOP ENJOYING IT! So better ask yourself if you still love what you are doing before you decide to do anything about it. And please do not forget to pray and ask for His guidance. He truly knows whats the BEST for you more than anyone else and more than what you think to be good for yourself. I'll pray for you as well my friend. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS and in all of your endeavors. :)

Likewise here... I was ONCE a COMPANY NURSE... enjoying the benefits of a regular employee plus the fact of being included in the HR community with greater privileges and lesser task at hand compared to a nurse in a hospital set-up!(Who wouldn't wish that kind of job?) I did enjoy my job for almost a year but then came this what we call BOREDOME that eventually KILL my interest and made me want to QUIT my job... which later I DID! What made me feel this inevitable boredome is the fact that I am doing the same routine every single day, nothing new and even no trainings for me to improve myself. I AM STUCK in the same place since I join the company! In short...NO GROWTH AT ALL! It made me realize one thing... I need to find another job that will make me not just a better professional but as well as a better person! I do hope all the best for you in your present career and even in the future too. GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND! By the way... VERY NICE TOPIC! You made me express my INNER FEELINGS and ventilate it all here in MYLOT!

thanks very much for the prayers my friend. It's nice to see you here in my discussion, Jhordie,it's been a while. lol, anyway, I do love my job, that's why I chose this over the high paying job I used to have before. But then, I felt like i'm sick of the schedule and the routine. You see, I would wake up everyday, call the students, talk to them then that's it. Very simple right? I should not be complaining, but I really don't know what's my problem, haha, I think I need a raise or a promotion.thanks for the response.

hahaha. I don't know what to say because I work for those gullibes too. Maybe the answer is discipline. You can drag yourself to work because you have to not because you enjoy it. But you should still do your part until the very last day in the office. That way, you could exit gracefully.

I think you should change jobs. If it is making you feel like this it is not good. A lot of things play a role in your job satisfaction besides the actual work itself. Your emotions, skills, financial needs and performance are just some of the factors that make or break a job. Remember: Not everyone loves every aspect of their job. It's a matter of finding strong positive points that you can focus on. If you feel like you don't have any positive aspects of your work that you can hone in on or your work is making you feel physically ill on a regular basis, re-start the search and find a job that will kick your negativity and give you challenges and sense of value you need to like what you do for a living. I really think you should take a long hard look at changing your career.

very well said, I think that's one problem. Bcause I was stagnant for long, I don't know what I'm good at. What I really want? or what I enjoy doing. I worked in a call center,I quit and chose the job that I'm in right now, but I'm planning to go back again because I'm not happy and I'm not getting anywhere. Guess, I really need some career check. thanks for the response.
