Does anyone out there have hops growing up their house, fence, everything etc? I love them, they look so beautiful covering the front of our house and twining around out deck railing. They are definitely a great way to cover up our rather ugly and dated stucco. My only problem is taking them down in the fall!My hands are scratched up and covered in an unsightly rash from spending yesterday afternoon getting the hops off the trellis. I realize now that I should have worn gloves, gotta love hindsight. I am wondering if any other gardeners out there have any tips, tricks or methods for taking hops down at seasons' end. Also, any other interesting info about them?

Hi I am Dinar.I am from Bangladesh. And i am very hoppful boy.hope is belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's lif.Hope is the feelings that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.To hope is to wish for something with the expectaion of the wish being fulfilled.A key condition in unreguited love.Hopefulness is some what different from optimsim in that hope is an emotional state.whereas optisim is a conclusion reached through a deliberate thought pattern that leads to a positive attitude.

Umm, that's nice but this is a discussion about gardening. Hops, not hope. They are a climbing plant.
