A government that shoots dogs...disgusting!!!

I have three dogs, 1 male japanese spitz (the 4th dog that i call by the name Sprocket) and i have 2 half breed dogs that we call here in our country "askal" a term for street dogs. one of them was gunned down this week just because he managed to escape the perimeter of my house in search for a mate. He was shot with a 22 caliber gun in the head by one of the local government's councilor 20 meters away from my gate in an attempt to get back inside the fence. This is a way of preventing rabies according to them. It brings disgust to all dog owners in our town. I heard over the news many months ago that another town on the next province also do that. I love dogs and I think this is unjust. I have all my dogs vaccinated with anti rabies so i think it is not an issue for it to spread rabies. The unjust execution of many dogs just disturbs me a lot.Do you know any animal rights organization that can bring justice to the dogs here in our town? Please advise me what you think is the best thing to do.

Hey..I understand your feelings..But in my country india, there are infinite stray dogs which roam in the streets..People do not have any protection from such dogs..In such a situation, the govt has no other option except to catch those and put them away..Blue cross organisations in india normally do not interfere in stray dogs issue as they too know about the dangers it pose to the society..

I like Samoyeds very much,they are very cute to see.I have brought one samoyed to my home and it is 4 year old and i love it very much.Samoyeds are similar to dogs.Every day i take care about these dogs and about their food and diet.Whenever i went outside i will keep a chain around its neck and it is a safe place.Samoyeds look very cute,funny and pretty looking.
