Television series?? Please fill me in. I have read some of the books - not all. My husband started reading them and I will probably begin re-reading them because it's been years since I read Wizard's First Rule. Anyway, I didn't realize there was a series - what channel, what release date? I'll have to add this to my tivo. The books are amazing, I think I only got to Faith of the Fallen before I stopped, but now there are more. At least I won't run out of reading material for a good long time!

It's called Legend of the Seeker, and I honestly could not tell you what channel it would be for you. It airs on Saturdays, and it started early this month. There have been 3 episodes up until now. It's one book per season, so they are only doing the first book this season. They are changing things and adapting it to suit a television series, so it's not copied straight from the book, but it's still good so far. You basically have to take the television series as a television series, and the books as the books.

This show is by far my favorite of all the series I've watched in the past year. It's suspenseful and very entertaining. I personally haven't read the books, but may sometime. I think there are about 11 different books. Maybe they'll have 11 Seasons. That would be awesome! I anticipate a new episode every week. The last one called "Sanctuary" was awesome.
