being a wife and mother, it is almost always our role to clean the house, especially the rooms and the bathrooms.
for now, i only get to maintain the bedroom and bath that my husband and i have because i live with my inlaws.
anyway, both my husband and i have long hair. but his is much longer. so you can just imagine the amount of hair that falls on the bedroom and the bathroom floor! and i really feel icky about it because when there is a lot of hair on the floor, they attract dust.
so anyway, i have tried sweeping, using scotch tape to pick up the hair, but now i found an easier way. i use the magic mop--not the usual mop but the kind that uses a foam that is very absorbent and where you can just pull a lever and squeeze all the liquid out.
i would wet the mop and mop the floor in one direction. by the time i am done, all the dust and the hair have stuck on the mophead, so i just manually take them off and throw in the waste can. i just rinse the mophead and wring, then everything is good.
it is so easy. no need to sweep and mop. and that takes care of the hair problem on the floor. :-D
good day all and God bless you! :-D

I have the same dilemna but ours has cat hairs too. What I do is mop the floor using the scotch-brite product. It don;t have to be wet actually. Just mop it then the dust, hairs, and cat hairs will stick to the mop. I just remove them and throw it in the garbage.

when you go to walmart or any store...find the scotch-brite brand of mop. the mop itself is color neon green. handle is color white. it's not disposable. you can actually throw it in your washing machine so it will be clean again. i think it's less than $15. i'm not sure. my husband bought it.

Oh yes, I am using the same magic mop and it does wonders on the floor. It is very easy to clean the floor because once we wet it, it is able to collect all the dust, hair and whatever light substance from the floor. And it is very easy to clean, too. I like to use boiling water when I mop my floor because the magic mop is easier to squeeze off the water and there are not too much soap bubbles in it. The floor can be cleaned much easier and after mopping, it produced a very nice smell. You should try it too. It doesn't matter what type of cleaning liquid you are using. As long as you are using hot water, your floor will be sparkling clean and your house will smell so nice.
Good day to you too, and god bless you too!

My son use to have long hair and I hated cleaning his bathroom. I finally just vacuumed it up. It came up easily and I didn't have to touch it!
