Some people love it; other may hate it. It can bring good things into your life, such as education, entertainment and inspiration. But it can also deliver a lot of nasty stuff you definitely don't want. Im talking about the TV (television), of course. How much does it influence you?Share your piece.. Happy mylotting Thanks in advance.~~Grace~~

Yap, most definitely am a couch potato. Though Ive become more recently of a 'computer couch potato' I mean instead of watching tv on the sofa all day Im at the computer typing and just being online. I love watching tv probably because it became my digital 'nanny' at one point in my childhood. Havent grown out of the habit and my first TV is still working and kicking.

I never watch the television, now that I have the internet. I used to watch it but not now. My husband is a couch potatoe. He loves the television. We had my ten week old Grandson staying with us for the weekend and he was sitting watching it with my husband holding a remote control. I said "why has the baby got the remote control" and he said he was training him up to use it. I left the room and I heard him telling my grandson "never let a women have the remote" "remotes are for boys". I couldnt help laugh to myself, but he is lucky I did not whack him with it. The television certainly influences my husband. It rules his life. It is good for all the news stories though.

It all depends on who you ask..I don't consider my self a couch potato but my husband does consider me one. But he is one more then me. I think that they are some great education channels on television you just have to put a parental block on stuff you don't want your kids viewing. Not alot you can do when they are elsewhere at someones house except ask the parents to put a temporary block so your child doesn't view the stuff you think is inappropriate.

I am not a couch potato. Since there is the computer and internet, my time for watching TV becomes less and less and I don't spend longer time on it today. I love China

Hi I am not a couch potato but there are times when I'm a couch potato LOL like when there is no work to be done and or I just feel like being a couch potato for a day or during holidays. I had experience being a couch potato with my cousin, we watched a marathon episode of a sitcom from morning til night only getting up to get food even lunch was not cooked only what can be eaten straight oput of the can or the left overs in the ref.
