what would cite as the 'one' achievement in your life?

What would consider as the best achievement that you have accomplished in your life time. It may be in any field, be it professional or personal, anything. Just give your views on that one big achievement that comes to your mind! For me, its when I helped in rebuilding a school that was affected by the Tsunami. I consider that achievement very close to my heart and I am very much proud that I could bring in new colours to the lives of a few students who were left devastated by the Tsunami.

Work still in progress. Ask me in 10 years and the answer will be "raising reasonably normal children who grew up to be contributing adults"...

well Im sure that a lot of people will say the one I am going to say although not the exact same one lol I say it is my three sons. My oldest son (Dan) is in the service, the army and will be deployed to iraq in january. That does scare me but I am proud of him none the less. My middle son Mikey is away at college this is his last year then he will be a meteoroligist. Which is what he has always wanted to be. I am proud of hi9m for fullfilling his dreams. My youngest son kevin is still at home . he hasnt chosen his career yet but I am proud of him for being him.

My biggest achievement is my children. I gave birth to them and I am now doing everything in my power to ready them for the world. That in itself is not alot, but I am going to introduce them as PRODUCTIVE members of society. Education, career, family oriented. In one way or another, they will make a positive impact on somebodys life as they have made on my life. They will help someone or maybe many people and do positive things for others. They will be kind, loving, giving... I know this sounds crazy but I truely feel that it is our responsibility to raise the future leaders of the country. To make sure that they will make a positive impact in some way, any way. And to me, that is the biggest accomplishment any mother/father can do in their life.

Wow, just wow, at your accomplishment. I really do respect you for that. ^_^ As I'm only in tenth grade, I haven't had much time to really 'achieve' anything. I'm proud of having received an A average in school every year for the past ten years, sure, but I wouldn't really consider it as one of the most worthwhile accomplishments of my life. I guess I'd say I'm proud of myself for not wasting my life. I don't smoke, drink, watch TV all day, party all night, act like I'm older than I really am, or any of the other stupid stuff my peers do. (Of course I still hang out with my friends, I just don't take part in their weekend extravaganzas.) I take guitar and piano lessons, work on improving my math and English with SAT tutors, and play tennis five times a week. I finished my after school French program after taking part in that for two years and passed the DELF. I know it all sounds petty, but I still do consider doing something worthwhile with my free time as an accomplishment.
