Finding it hard to get one out of a list

Out of variety and variety of dishes and recipies, me and my wife always find a hard thing to choose and cook for our pleasure. Its always a small bit of confusion in minds to select a better dish which both of us love much to taste and eat. And always its easy to find a list when we are alone but together we find it difficult. Do you have the some thing at your home..who decides the dish /how well your hubby into selecting menus
