Ever wondered how those jerks in trade don't get banned? Ever wondered why that dreadfully annoying guy you can't stand who talks in trade is so popular? If so, you've come to the right place. I will provide you with some sure-fire ways to be noticed, bot not*gasp* BANNED First, be engaging. No one likes a person that chats without entertainment value. Even if you're making fun of someone, they will laugh if you're not rude about it, let them enjoy the joke and don't alienate them, or they might report you for abuse. Second, talk about things that everyone can be a part of. This however does not include politics, religion, or race. Talk about new content, and don't be afraid to help people with information they are lacking. Remember, you don't want to be a complete jerk, you just want to be memorable. Just be sure to know what you're talking about, as you don't want to look like a noob in front of your fans! Third, cover all your bases. Make sure you reach out to as many different-minded people as you can. You don't want part of the population of your server to know your name, you want everyone to. Fourth, make sure you leave town to group for dungeons and quests. People still have to know that you are a quality player behind your big words, and those that have played with you will make it known that you are a quality player if someone doesn't know. A memorable person makes for a memorable playing experience, so be sure you leave a positive impression when strutting your 1337|\|355. If you follow these steps you're well on your way to being a well-known hero on the realm of your choosing! Everyone will know you and want to group with you for that boss you need to kill, or quest you can't seem to complete. Have fun with your new-found fame!

Umm, this is extremely irrelevant to my discussion. I've played Warcraft 2+3, but the majority of the World of Warcraft subscribers have never played. I hate that everyone assumes warcraft means that you've played all warcraft.

I group more with friends than guild members outside of 25 man raids. Either way though, this was just supposed to be a funny guide. Probably not laugh out loud funny, but amusing at least I would hope. *shrug* it passed some time for me.
