Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Park, VA

My friends and I recently went to Skyline Drive for a getaway weekend. It was a two and a half hour drive from our place. Skyline is famous for its fall colors and indeed when we went there, a lot of cars are in line to enter the park. The sceneries are really breathtaking and awesome. Although, the variety of colors are not there anymore. The leaves are mostly green and yellow only. The reds are gone. Maybe because a few weeks have passed already since the start of the fall season and I bet, a number of those red leaves have fallen to the ground already. Nonetheless, the drive itself was very good. We got to experience fall colors at the park. And it's far away from the city and busy schedule, so it was fun indeed!
