Barack Obama is the new President-elect of the United States of America. This is the most historic moment of my life. We have just made history!!! Now when an African-American, biracial, Asian-American, Mexican-American or any other ethnic group tells their child that you can grow up to be the President of the United States it will be a true statement that they can really believe. OMG!!! I cried!!!What a moment!!!How do you feel?

Thanks for responding. I believe he was truly sincere in all of his promises, although he will have to get past congress on some of the things he is proposing. If we all stick together as we did for the election, he will do a good job, but he will have a hard road ahead because first he will have to try to undo some of this mess we are already into.

Yes your are so right about that. This win belongs to more than just blacks but to all other races that have made the US there home. This speaks for all and this race was for all. I know there are those that just see things black and white. But even they will have to change the way they look at things. The forty-fourth president of the US is the first president of a color. Just the sound of that is a beautiful thing.

Amazing, and yes a truly awesome result for America. Not being sent to the back of the bus could have a whole new meaning for lots of Americans. It's like aboloshing slavery all over again. Well done America.
