I do mylot during office hours in between my work, as a form of relaxation for my busy mind.It is just like an advertisement on TV that I pause my work and switch to mylot on another tab. Since i am the only one who have access to my computer i leave it online until I go home in the afternoon. I have influenced some of my officemates to join too, however my boss caught them doing it during time of work, he said it is a form of moonlighting. he gave them limits to computer priveledges and asked me to block their computers from the internet during office hours. Well it seems unfair for me, but it's their fault anyway that they got caught. I know that it is not proper to mix plesure with business, but sometimes mylot is addictive and i cant help but respond if i see a good topic. How about you? Do you see mylotting as a form of moonlighting?

Yes, if I were the boss I'd see it as moonlighting. After all, it has nothing to do with your work, does it? It's not fair for the company to pay you while you also use the company's time and resources to earn money online. Hopefully, when I start work, I won't want to mylot at all otherwise my boss will kill me!!!You're right though, mylot is addictive! I come here everyday and make like 20 cents but I'm happy. :)

i have to agree with you, mylot is really addictive to me because i let out some of my pressures here while earning, I also learn many things here. It does not have anything to do with my job but isnt it helpful to employees if they have a bit of relaxation from time to time. Too much work and no play makes us dumb right. He he dont let your boss catch you , happy mylotting :)

haha! I suppose it is moonlighting, but also at the same time you go to work to make money, and even if it a very small amount you make money here also.
