As with the right to vote a black man comes before a white female

Black men where given the right to vote in this country several years before women were given the right to vote. Do you think Barack Obama's election to the office of President is a reflection of the same type of sentiments that led to women following black males in order of succession? What do you think the chances are of a woman running and winning the Presidency in 2012?

I don't believe so. If Hillary Clinton had won the nomination and ran against McCain with Palin as his running mate, she would have won by a large margin as well. If McCain had chosen a different running mate and ran a better campaign, he may have prevailed against either Obama or Clinton. The McCain campaign made numerous mistakes that turned voters against them, starting with Palin's selection followed by weeks of negativity instead of focusing on the positive message of what he can do for this country. I do believe that Hillary will run again in 2012 and she should win the nomination at that time. Sarah Palin will most likely fade back into obscurity where she and her style of tag team governing with her sidekick husband can remain Alaska's problem.
