The nerve of some perves!

I am a member of ciao for a month now, been active there and I know it helps when you post a picture, it makes you more credible right? And so I was so excited and uploaded my first photo there, turns out the phot I uploaded showcase something that made those perves drool (and I am taking this as a compliment rather I felt insulted) immediately after receiving pervert comments I changed the photo thinking it was the the reason. To my surprise some really had the nerve to ask! crap!
That is one plus no not just one but thousand plus points to mylot..
Users are more disciplined here.
HAve you experienced the same?
What do you do when perverts send a PM to you?
DO you reply to them or just erase and ignore them?

I just signed up for ciao yesterday... and i tried to upload my own avatar... but the admin there rejected it... seems like we can only upload our own photo there... so that is indeed open to a lot of abuse by other members who can be perverts... i am still thinking if i will indeed use my own photo... i really cannot decide yet...
But if something like that happens to me... i will certainly report those members sending me abusive messages so that they will be banned from the site...

I usually just ignore and erase those and even report them as SPAM. Just be sure to avoid uploading pictures that is somehow revealing. Even pictures revealing your shoulders can actually attract perverts. 
We just simple can't avoid it.

I am confused, are you saying your taking it as a compliment otherwise you'd feel insulted? People can be such perverts. I used to be internet friends with one, and well I went back not to long ago to the site, but he's still being a perv so I stopped going... he scares me really. It's sad how internet perverts can scare you, but with the knowledge of some people on knowing how to destroy your computer, I wouldn't blame anyone for being scared.. plus you can find anything out about people on the internet now. No more use for Sherlock Holmes!
If I see a message, I ignore it.. that is if it's from a perv.

Hmm I guess perverts exist everywhere. I am so sorry that you have experienced this. But you have to take them in your stride. Move forward and take these "compliments" with a pinch of salt.

that's the thing about the internet-post a picture anywhere,and you run the risk of perv.even if it's something you'd think they wouldn't respond on.it sucks,but..
i usually just delete/ban.i haven't the time for it.

Looks like u uploaded your own picture there, instead of this avatar u are having.. i get what u mean by feeling insulted, as i have responsed to one of your posts b4.. hehe
Well, it's human nature after all, and it's about self control for those guys.. Actually u should not feel insulted, u can just ignore them ^_^ But whatever it is, as long as u think it's safer to change your picture, maybe u have done the right way too ^_^
But saying mylot members are more disciplined, i dun really think so, because they are some members whom i known, have received PM about things too.. lol

I usually include them in my spam list. Anyways, I guess, there are a number of perverts really lurking on the net.
