I just hope he changes things for the better, maybe he'll keep his word, we'll see in the months to come. that's really all I have to say about that. this is not a bashing forum where you say mean things to anyone who responds, I really don't care who you voted for if at all, that was not my question. just say something positive and what you hope to see from this president.

I did vote for Obama and I do believe in him. I just hope he is able to come through for this country and I hope we can improve our international relations, too. I believe he will unite the people in this country who are tired of what's been happening. I think he will be honest and will not be wishy washy about his beliefs. I think he will promote good moral values and will try to fix our healthcare system so that all people will be covered when they need to be.

Even though I did not vote for Obama, I admire your challenge for us to find something positive about our President elect, even if he wasn't our choice.. And I will: 1. He seems to genuinely care for the people at large, and truly seems to intend to try to keep his promises, even if they aren't feasible (I've never seen any candidate able to keep all promises). 2. He isn't Hillary Clinton (I'm serious, I'm very glad about that.) 3. I think he sees to the bigger picture. I think he sees beyond just the four years he knows he will be in the White House, and looks ahead.
