Should smoking be banned?

As I asked, should smoking be banned? Smoking does a lot harm to our health. But many people enjoy it and they regard it as their habit. Guys, what do you think? Let's share your opinions here.

Hello zww. I think that it needs to be banned since it does no good to people's health. I am glad that both my father and I do not smoke. In fact, I hate smoking and the slightest smoke gets me sick. I am glad that many of my colleagues do not smoke though there are a few of them. Good night.

I'm not a smoker and I don't like the smelling of it too. But I just think everyone should have their own rights to do what they enjoy. Smoking can get rid of tiredness and make people calm...It's the topic of our debate we are going to have. I would like to share your opinions here

I have to agree with you ZWW it's a personal decision. I don't understand how people can say that it should be band as it is a personal right. So maybe I should try to get something that they enjoy banned so that they know how it feels. Who has the right to say what they do is right but what I do as a smoker is wrong. I know alot of them say that they get sick well they have the RIGHT to get up and walk on out of where ever it is. Do people really think it's fair to practically persecute someone for what they do?

well think of something that you really enjoy and as if it should be banned? it is my choice as a smoker to smoke if I so choose to. I live in the US and I have just as many rights as anyone else. I mean think about it people that sky dive or jump off cliffs or do dangerous stunts they get to continue to do them... People eat their selves into an early grave are we going to take food away? I have just as many rights as everyone else does and qite frankly I am getting to tired of being degraded because I am a smoker now if i was not respecting people that dont smoke then I could understand but i dont light cigs in restaurants or around kids so I feel that smokers need enough respect to be able to do what they want. It's our right as free people.

I cannot say it shoule ot should not be banned. We can not force people not to do something which they like to do. We have the right to refuse get harm from smkoing so there are No Smoking sighs everywhere.
