I just bought a new wireless mice last month, and it is the only refreshing of my computer gear this year. i still use the same keyboard and monitor, also my cpu and harddriver is out of fasion when compare to my friends'. But i am quite enjoying it, it just fulfill all my need, so that is the key problem, right? So, do you often change your computer gears, and why? :)

I change my hardware parts if the softwares or games does not run because my system it is not compatible with the game. It depends also the user if they really need the hardware they should buy it. Like in my situation, I am fond playing games especially desktop games with high requirement. So in terms of games, hardware upgrades need to be change if the game isn't capable.

I've been using the same hardware for 8 years. My monitor has been replaced due to the old one breaking. Same thing for my mouse and keyboard, power supply, 2 disk drives, and speakers. I did put in an extra hard drive, but I consider that an addition and not a change of what was so much. Oh, my motherboard, processor, and RAM had to be replaced about a year into owning it, as I accidentally unplugged my power strip while the computer was shutting down, as I meant to unplug it for a storm.
