Do you think Obama will end up on the currency?

With Senator or President Elect Obama poised to sit as the first black president ever, do you think that there will come a day when he will be immortalized on the currency like George Washington or Ben Franklin who lost the first presidential election to George and was never a president?

Thats actually a really interesting thought...I've gotta wonder myself since this is a historical thing in mass proportions really I wonder if they will end up putting him on a bill etc..

I also think that this is an interesting thought. :) This is definitely historical in mass proportions as you say! :) I wouldn't be surprised if this DOES happen at some point! :)

I doubt it. He hasn't done anything yet to warrant being on currancy. Being the first black president is an historical event, yes, but not worthy of erasing Washington's picture off the quarter and putting Obamanation's mug on it.

I wasn't suggesting that Washinton be removed from the one dollar bill and I would like to point out that all George did to get his mug on there was to be the first elected President of the United States
