Update to my previous discussion regarding yahoo mail!!

Hi, I recently started a discussion stating that I had logged into my yahoo account and had noticed that five emails had disappeared from my inbox. I contacted yahoo customer services and they got back to me this evening. They told me that they were sorry that this happened and that they would be able to restore my mailbox to an earlier date and that my messages would be back in my inbox. So, I've chosen the 1st November for my restore date and I have asked yahoo to confirm to me that this action has been carried out. This is the first time that this has happened and so, I guess this is information for you if you use yahoo and you have a similar problem in the future. Thanks. Andrew

I am using yahoo but haven't encountered that kind of problem yet. But i am glad that yours is being resolved soon. It is so nice of you to be passing on this kind of information to your friends here in mylot. Let's just hope that nothing like this happens to anyone else here. Thanks again, my friend.

actually i read that post but didnt comment because i didnt have much to say or any helpful information for you... i am glad that it is getting resolved for you! yes it is good to know that much like your computer your inbox could be restored to a previous date.. just to be on the safe side change your password in case your account DID get hacked.
