My reputation is dropping

Well, personally, I think there is no rhyme nor reason to this site at times, and I think sometimes people put too much focus on the Ratings and Reputation thing here to where some people will tend to overdo it for certain people here even if it is just in spite as well. If I were you, I would just continue to post in here expecting for the Best, but not worry about when others try to hurt us. Just continue to have Fun, and learn New things on the way.

How could it happen to you when I see almost all of your topics landing into top discussions? I was in fact so happy for you when seeing them always on the top? Well, well, well, I can't also explain why your reputation is dropping. But you need not ask your friends to rate you positively. Certainly I am doing that always for you and the others I'm sure are also. Okay, I think you just stay calm. Don't be so bothered. I know it is quite sad but certainly sooner or later you could pick up. Don't let that affect your performance. Cheer up my dear. Now I'd rate you positive again!

Your reputation on this site is dropping ? What about me ? My reputation here in Trinidad is dropping ! Right now I owe and cannot pay - reason ? No cash ! I love this idea about reputations. I used to think the same thing other people do - that you're responsible for your own reputation and then comes the time when the people who have high regard for you cannot be paid because you're flat broke ! Welcome to the dropping rep routine ! No cash ! No pay ! No reputation !

maybe just let it be . In time it will return again and increase. Not all the time i guess will stay in a high reputation i guess.

Even mine is also dropping out another points and it is very critical points for now it is already95/100 out of a 100 and one more I would drop my star into 9 but I guess it is already 4 points pull out by the time and I will not be surprise if it would dropped again in one of this day for we cannot please everybody with our words.

I wonder where i cold see my reputation here., I think you have already a blue star, i dont think there is a problem of having another color for it is a challenge for us to post with quality not with quantity.

Mine have gone down to from blue to red. I don't take much notice of what my rating is. I just continue to post and speak my mind out. © ronaldinu 2008

I think in regard to reputation we can't do anything. Due to some trolls i lost my reputation from 97 to 63 within just 2 days. I never got it back. Now how many freind can I ask to rate me +?

Hi pehpot, I have never given you a negative and find nothing wrong with your discussions. I know that I do not respond to all of them but that is because I really have nothing to say on the subject. Just keep posting and comment on the discussions of others and I feel that in time you will reach a blue star. Blessings.

lol =D Ever heard of this saying, WHat goes up must comes down.. lol =D ANd that it takes hundreds of yrs to build rome, but only takes a sec to bring it down.. haha =D So once reptuation has dropped, it's hard to make it go back up again.. JUst like mine, i only had a blue for just a week or so, b4 it falls, and goes up again, after which it drops, and i have this red for almost 2 months now.. lol =D I have given up on my reputation because it's so hard to maintain it at hte hightest level, thus i can only make do with this.. lol

Well I believe that you cannot please everybody so wheather you ask them nicely or not they will still do what they feel like rating! Each and every person has moods and unique characteristics and belief so you may never know what rate they might give you. I myself accepted the this fact so I never mind what kind of rate I receive just simply do what you wish well of course without violating mylot TOS . Happy earning and posting!

Hi pehpot! Mine is drop as well, but what can we do! We cannot please everybody here. You have a lot of good friends here that will rate you positive. But I don't understand why, most of your discussions are on top. You even get highest rated discussion yesterday, maybe some are just jealous, lol. Just keep posting and if its still drop "call a friends".

just keep writing your discussions.or it will drop again and again.your reputation relif on your activities,if you are lazy to do some writing ,yours will be decreased surely.please dont keep your laziness go on.

This usually happens to us... some members do not like it when others have a 10 blue star... so they go on a negative rating spree... my rating also went down a couple of times... but i am just glad tht i was able to retian my 10 blue star... and i hope it stays that way... But if it doesn't... then i will just work extra hard to get it again...

Have you taken part in any controversial discussions recently? LOL! I see that you are really nice and well behaved in Mylot. I don't know why anybody should mark you negative. I am not really familiar with the relationship (and the intricacies) between ratings and reputations. Anyways, what I have in mind, is that the reason behind reputation is the active and qualitative responses one make in the process.

I used to worry about it too but I made the decision that I would rather post what I think than worry that I might upset someone. My partner says that a falling star is a badge of honour as it shows that you tackle controversial topics and say what you think. I used to have a blue but I am more active now and have upset a few people and so while I notice it I do not worry about it any more.

Hi pehpo, i am not even ok for your reduction as you are one of the smart and good worker for mylot and if it drops your reputation then i cant even think about mine here. Thats happend for me too i got reduced with 1 points last 2 days back and now it has been increased as well

Hi pehpot! you are not alone, my reputation is also going down. from 99, 98, 97 and now its 96. I just noticed that before, when i have less posts, my reputation is higher. but now that I have more posts, and becoming more active, my reputation is slowly going down. So I believe, the more posts you make the more tendencies it will go down since the more people are reading your response or discussion, and the ratio of getting a negative rating is also getting higher. so better be careful with what you posts. its hard to please everybody. some may like your posts other may not. that's life. just keep the posts coming. take care
