Would you sign a prenuptial agreement?

If I were to marry someone who asked me to sign a prenuptial agreement, at first I would be rather offended. I would not like the idea that this person is thinking about us breaking up before we even got married. I know that in a divorce everything you had before the marriage is still yours, and after the marriage it becomes community property, so I do not see what the problem is of sharing what was obtained doing the marriage. It is hard to say, but I do not think I would be pleased if asked to sign a prenuptial agreement. I know some women would like to take the man to the cleaners, but I am not like that. Still not sure what I would do. What about you, would you happily sign a prenuptial agreement?

Honestly, I wouldn't be offended if my fiance asked me to sign a prenup. My boyfriend and I have actually had this conversation before and he has a family business and I also have a family business. With those businesses in mind I would have absolutely no problem with signing the prenup as it is within the best interests of our families and their businesses.

I would be pretty offended as well. I guess I would sign it if I was really sure I wanted to marry that person, but at the same time I would feel like they cannot trust me and I would not want to be married to someone who did not trust me.
