I wanted to go to Russia twice but haven't been able to. When I was 18 I worked as a children's nanny in Finland and I wished to go to St Petersburg. However hotel rooms cost around US$100 a night. I was so sad not to be able to afford to go there. Years later cheaper hostels opened. Last year I went to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. I wished to go to St Petersburg however I couldn't afford the visa charges for me and my toddler son. I would have to have a form filled in and signed by my son's dad. I would have to have accommodation booked and confirmed. I don't live near the Russian Embassy and so I would have to pay a visa agent to get the visas. It would have cost three hundred pounds for the visas because my son has his own passport. I so wish I could afford to go to Russia. One day I would like to go the train from Moscow to Beijing via Mongolia.

by train From China to Russia is not good idea.you will feel tire,can't asleep. when we tiped in Russia,just by train on the way from moscow to st peterbugs. anther days,on the bus.i think ,you should make a travel by plane. hope that day come soon.
