I have normally started Christmas shopping by now but this year is pretty rough for my family so i havent really been able to get anything yet. However, yesterday i was bored at home so i decided to go to Kbtoys with the baby. I had a $15 gift card that i got from mypoints so i used that to buy something for the baby. They also had a special where if you spent $30 you would get a $10 gift card. So i bought something for my older son for $15 as well and got a $10 gift card to use for next time. At least i can say that i have bought something for Christmas. lol.

hi my2boys!
good for you that you are able to start your Christmas shopping. i haven't started with mine. i've been spending a lot over the last two months and i forgot that its already the "-ber" season and that i need to prepare for Christmas because there's so many people i want to give gifts to. you're lucky you have gift cards and all that. i hope i can start already with my shopping too.

I love deals like you got. I am on a budget this year too, so it is a little bit rough. It is sad because you want to get your kids a lot of nice things, but it is hard when limited financially.
I love MyPoints.com. I have been a member for a while now. That is one of the reasons why I do my Christmas shopping online, so I can get more points and a gift card. I just ordered a $10 gift card for Pizza Hut and I am going to stick that on top of a gift for my brother.

I always start around the last week of sepand go in shifts, that way I don't have to spend so much money at one time and can get it all out of the way before it gets to crowded. I too have had to cut back some though, I just have so many pople to shop for that I was not able to get everything I wanted for them like I usualy do. This economy is sure not what it used to be and I can't imagine to think what would happen if things got any worse.
