What’s the best movie to watch on HDTV?

My husband just bought a new HDTV, unfortunately the cable hasn’t hooked us up yet for the HDTV. So we decided to subscribe maybe next year, when the channel companies have digital or HD channels. For tonight or maybe this weekend I wanted to buy a DVD so we can watch it with our new TV. So any recommendations on which movie to watch?

There are several good movies to watch in HD, The first one I reme,ber watching in HD for the first time was Troy w/brad Pitt. I also really like Braveheart and Saving Private Ryan. It depends on what your into also. Titanic is a good choice also.

Definitely the new transformers movie! It'll really showcase the new TV, because there is a lot of movement that the old one probably wouldn't be able to keep up. But remember you'll need a blu-ray player or Playstation 3 to truly capture the movie on the small(er) screen.
