it is not long ,the new year 2009!! in the begining of a year every one will decide to do such and such things this year or i will not do such thing.i am not going to ask you what will be your dreams for next year we have time for thinking it. but have you done what you decided to do in 2008. or did you forgot about it. Can you belive that time move so fast when you enjoy it i am in schools now and in the begining of this year i had decided to study very well but as i enjoyed the class the time moved very quickly and i didn't got any time to study. now the exams will start shortly and i thnk i could fail...
oh ! god freeze the time, i have a year to catch up
watch out! this could happen to you as well , use time with sense

Ahh. legend4u, take a deep breathe, now let it out slowly. 
Final exams are overwhelming, I remember that well. But every sememster I doubted I had studied enough and it always turned out that I had. Don't feel like you have to go and learn everything now, study the high points and you will be surprised at what comes back to you. Good luck, study wisely.
I know what you mean, time does slip away from us and before we know it, it's time for New Years celebrations again.

Yes indeed time flies rather quite fast these days. I rteally do not know if that is just the mind playing tricks on you or what. A couple of months to go and everything in 2008 will come to an end and it was just like yesterday when i woke up and it was just the start of 2008.

yes I have attempted to achieve the goals I made for 2008
I was planning to pay off my debts and stop eating any meat aside from seafood
debts wise I managed to pay off my credit cards and close them
now I only have one card and one small business debt to be paid off in 5 yrs
I tried to make money to pay more into these but the crisis makes it impossible
about not eating meat, I have tried that too
I was raised eating mostly seafood and vegetables so I thought it would be easy
not to eat chicken, beef and pork at all
but where I live now seafood is not as cheap as in my homeland
so all I can do is reducing all kinds of meat consumption
but I can't live entirely on seafood because it will hurt our budget

in this discussion i have read many sad story's many because of the carelessness and laziness of people. But you. you are different! you have worked very hard. i wish you could pay off all the debt's .i wish you can finish all the problems by 31st December 2008 and enjoy a altogether new year.

Well you have reminded me of how fast time has gone. It is hard to believe that another year has flown by. I'm not much on New Year resolutions although I make a few simple ones and yes I have achieved them in 2008. Sometimes I think we need to slow down and smell the roses as they say. We're so bust with our evrydaylives we don't even see it passing right in front of us.

when 2008 started i set up some goals. i was not able to reach one important goal but that's alright because i know i worked very very hard and i am still working hard to get it. i know my hard work would not be wasted. i am sure by 2009 i will reach that goal.

During new years i usually only make 1 resolution. I accomplished the one i set for 2008 which was learn to play the guitar. For this new year thats coming im going to make anoth related to bieng a pro guitarrist. Its going to be hard but i can do it.

you are the very few people that have actually achieved your 2008 new year resolution. so must be proud about that. i think you are a role model more many. Even though it's just guitar for some,but it was something you didn't knew but something you want to know. you worked very hard and learned it. congratulations!!

I know exactly how you feel legend4u,I feel it everyday.Days , weeks, months are flying by so quickly.I used to think that it was just me,but now I hear lots of people talking about it.I myself cant make any headway.I simply thought that I was losing my mind.Anyway I hope that you will catch up with your studies and I know that you will succeed.The best of everything to you.!!!!LOL!!!!

Yes your right time is fast i am really excited about the coming of 2009 because i have so many plans for that year.In year 2009 i will graduate and hopefully we will have a vacation trip and i want to enjoy every minute of that vacation.I will strive hard now to finish my schooling so i can work and have some vacation.I am saving right now for that vacation hope it will happen.

Actually, I don't have a new year's resolution last 2008 that I could think of as of now. All I know was it was a New Year and new life, new beginning of everything. I just thought I'd do the best I can to have a good life. Happy Mylotting!

true.2008 is goin to do the vanishin act so quickly... as you said time did fly by so
quickly ... as for resolutions i don believe in making them. i never plan anythin on a long-term basis. i try to enjoy life on a day-by-day basis only , because life is full of twists and turns and can offer surprises anytime.

my 2008 had been OK... there are ups and downs moments... but i think that is what we call life and it is through these experiences we learn, grow and improve ourselves... i always count on God's blessings every single moment in my life and i am very grateful to Him for blessing me and my family until now... and i believe that He will continue to bless me and my family for the many years to come as well... thanks for the reminder to use our time more wisely... take care and have a nice day...

Many things happened in the year of 2008. I think 2008 is a good year because it is the start of my new life. Before this I have been living in the rural areas for about 8 years and there are very little improvements that can be achieved living in a small place like that.
Last year I have moved to town and we have started a new life. My husband got a new job and I am thrilled for what is going to happen next. I also go a new nephew this year. Because I live nearer now it is easy to see my niece and now she is very close to me which gives me a lot of happiness.

everything bad happens on me /my family /China/The whole world this year.. - -!
maybe you don't realise..that's just my own experience~

it is a deamed year of 2008 in terms of me.alas,i have been thoroughly broken-down ,coz i have been suffering a great deal of loss in stock investment since the global financial crisis began in that crazy way.

well,
time does pass by faster if you really start enjoying what you do.hence its always wise to use the time in a planned and good way but yes,you should take time to enjoy too.
As of the studies,dont worry..just cram up a month before exams..and trust me,time will become quite fast once your exams start!
