Yahoo Would Be Under Maintenance Today!!!

This morning, I have received a message from yahoo, that this evening we will be having problems in logging in or accessing the sites since they will be under maintenance. Per yahoo, they will put some changes to make the service more better. The maintenance will they effect up to tomorrow morning,9am.Hope this would be a helpful information to you guys.

It's apparently a hoax! I got the same message twice, one from a friend, another from an address that is not known to me: tjed_16ATyahooDOTcom.
Somehow I sensed something wrong with the email letter - I don't use Yahoo Messenger - so I decided to look it up some more.
Actually, there is another discussion about this posted by another mylot user five days ago. He cited exactly the same wording as is contained in the email message I got. It is a hoax, another chain letter.
This is also something I have long lamented- my yahoo email address is so prone to spamming, and yet I know I am careful.
I don't think there's anything to worry or do anything about it.

Thanks for telling that information regarding Yahoo.
Hope that Yahoo will keep improving their service, and make the users more convenient.
