What type of songs do you listen to?

When I was younger and still single, I used to listen to angst-laden songs (mostly alternative rock). I grew up listening to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, etc. Maybe i was just going through the "I hate the world" phase back then.
Now that I'm more mature (really!? yeah right!:) I'm beginning to appreciate a wider array of songs.. classical (andrea bocelli, would you believe!?), pop, R&B, hiphop & jazz. Not to mention the barney songs (acquired through my kids. haha!)
What about you? Do you always stick to a specific song genre only?

I think music is very important to peoples everyday lives because music can add color and meaning to places that are dull,boring,and meaningless,and if you are in a good mood,it can help you be in an even better mood,or if you are in a bad mood,it can make you feel better and be in a better mood,and me and my fiance love listening to music,and are both very big fan of music,and whenever we go out,we always have the radio on,and it is always on one of our local country stations,because that is the kind of music we like most,because we can relate to it,and it has a lot of wholesome songs,and the only country songs I do not like are the ones about cheating ,breaking up,or getting drunk and doing stupid things.

Hello there slash, i listen only Hindi and telugu songs in past but now my friend have made me to listen to all type of melody,rap.... all kinds of languages songs.
And iam now very fond of listening to those songs... happy mylotting.

i dont have any particular choice i do listen to all music and all languages i accept all types of music which are soothing and u see it all depends on my mood
