I find that a lot of people are using artificial menas to keep thmesleves looking younger when infact age is catching up. Some dye thier hair, some get a face lift done, some use heavy make up. Does ll this really make you younger? It gives yo false looks fora while but in your heart you know you are not that young any longer. Then why do we do it? What is more important is that one has to feel young at heart. If yo uare uyoung at heart, then yo are young. It is good to grow old gracefully. One must look one's age to get respect for your age.

I have not yet reached the point where I have wrinkles, but hey, I like putting make-up. It's not that I am doing it for fake looks but I enjoyed being creative with my face. Although, I agree to age gracefully though.

Well, aging gracefully is good but like you say, some don't think so. Those who have the time and money will want to do something about their appearance to try and defeat aging. Feeling young at heart is great but looking young externally is much appreciated. However, no matter what we do, we eventually catch up with our real age. I think some people do it because it make them feel happy, excited with the result and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Most women if not all are vain. I think that is a common nature. We all want to look and fresh all the time if only possible. But ageing is inevitable and perhaps we just have to accept it. Sooner or later, whatever we do, our face will wrinkle and the once young and fresh beauty is gone. I don't subscribe to having a face lift or any thing that will change my facial features though. I however go through facials and I also do have daily maintenance which I think is necessary to care for the skin and somehow delay the ageing. I don't use make up. I only use plain fresh powder and light lipstick as I go to work. I don't like heavy make up on my face unless I have to attend a party that would require me to be fully made up. Of course I want to age gracefully but it does not just constitute outside appearance. Ageing gracefully also includes inner beauty which means gentle, kind, humble, and all good attitude toward others plus a happy disposition and a positive spirit.
