iPod Touch 1st Generation OR 2nd Generation?

I own an iPod Touch 1st Generation, but they just launched the 2nd gen with lower price when the 1st gen first came out. Do you think is it worth upgrading? I know that there are some new features like a built-in speaker, a volume button and more sleek design. Still, I do not know whether I should spend money for it or not. Any recommendations??

Yea I think it is worth upgrading. I have an Ipod 2nd gen and its is the best. The built in speaker adds to the greatness. I think the first gen is fat and ugly. You should go with Ipod 2nd generation.

I also own an I-Pod Touch 1st Generation and quite honestly, I was bit sad when I found out about the new additions to the 2G version -- built-in speakers, volume buttons and a bit sleeker design. But eventually, I got over it. I didn't want to replace my I-Pod Touch since it's an anniversary gift from my BF so I just opted to upgrade the firmware and pay $10. I realized that I didn't need the built-in speakers anyway, since I bought a separate speaker for it and its sound quality is probably average.

Sell the 1st gen ipod on ebay. you could sell it for a more price than you bought it for. Then buy the new iPod

I'm still contemplating on getting the iPod Touch 2G. Like what you're feeling now @jirarak, after you bought it, there's a new one around already. It's either you live to be contented with what you have or suffer being a slave to technology.. But of course, you can't have the best of both worlds. Go figure. ;-)
