Deja Vu: All over again!

Yes, it is true. The USA has seen the likes of Barrack Obama before, at least in terms of his politics and policies. Take a gander at this. http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/11/barack_obama_the_kingfish_rebo.html I say that Will Rogers' observation that history does not truely repeat itself, but that it at least rhymes totally applies here. The parallels of the King Fish's career and Obama's are spine shivering. What do you say?

I think the article is an accurate representation of 0bama's policies, and of the people who voted for him. Of course, the fact that the MSM was in the tank for 0bama and became his personal propaganda machine helped a lot.

Out spending McCain by what? Almost 4 to 1 had to help, too! Heard the latest rumor on Obama's birth certificate? Only a rumor, but it is said that race in Hawaii in the 1960's was deterimined by the race of the mother and that is what would be on the birth certificate. Imagine it! Obama's official race on a government document, CAUCASIAN! It is possible Obama just did not want all those blacks who voted for him to be reminded of how much white he is.

How about this story of the Obama BS...I mean BC. http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/2008/07/14/barack-obama-is-illigitimate-andy-martin-book-new-york-news-conference-july-14-2008-obama-knowingly-and-persistently-lied-obama-birth-certificate-is-obama-elligible-to-be-president/?referer=sphere_related_content/ Whether true or not there are still too many questions about obama. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzMas1bVidw

As usual another very interesting topc and article red. The comparison is too close for comfort. As he (Huey Long) was assinated before he could make his bid for the presidency obviously someone (Carl Weiss) did not want to spread his wealth.

Fortunately, security is much better nowadays. I do not expect Obama to end up like Huey Long. I expect Obama to be defeated in 2012. I made no prediction in 2008, only supported McCain. I don't expect Obama to be re-elected. The country will have 4 years of finding out who he is. I expect that unless Obama's action do not match his rhetoric, the public will reject him out of hand once they know him.

You are, of course, correct about security forces. Many believe this was the problem with JFK's murder. In the last couple of years new evidence has surfaced that JFK delibrately caused the BAY OF PIGS invasion to fail and that disgruntled persons in the government killed JFK in retaliation for their friends' deaths and because of the huge security risk JFK's incompetance represented to the nation. This is not a wild eyed unrealistic hypothsis. It can't be proved but the circumstantial evidence fits the facts.

Security may be better now than it was in the 30's; but, when your security people become "disillusioned" with you or start to see YOU as the threat; the best security in the world will not keep you alive.

"Rally us under this young man [Huey Long] who came out of the woods of north Louisiana, who leads us like Moses out of the land of bondage into the land of milk and honey where every man is a king but no man wears a crown, Amen." Well that does sound like something someone would have said about Barack Obama. The big comparison is their politics. Huey share the wealth ideas are parallel to Obama's ideas. If they are not then please someone explain how they are not.

They are so similar one has to wonder if Obama studied Huey Long's life for ideas!

I was hoping that this article was going to be more along the lines of the Kennedy/Lincoln similarities and coincidences but it is certainly interesting nonetheless. I hope to God that the similarities are limited to lines of thinking only and that the physical history aspect does not repeat itself in any sense, shape or form. Times have certainly changed since the Kingfish era so let us hope that even though their may be some parallel lines of thinking here in terms of political doctrines; the similarities moving forward will end right there.

The comparisons are so similar it is scarey. There is no way to remove Obama, and America will have to suffer four years during which the money they make will go down. And Obama will get richer. The only way to get rid of him is to find out if his birth certificate is false and I am afraid he is not above assassination to keep people from finding out the truth. And if he is kicked out of the presidency, there is still Biden as vice-president. So it will be the longest four years in America's future.
