I used to read it when I was still in my teen years especially the new testament but right now that I'm so busy working, don't have time anymore.

I tried reading the Bible once. I got through the first 2 chapters and gave up. Maybe if I tried on audio I would be able to understand.
Or maybe atheists aren't meant to try to understand such things as the Bible. I almost picked up a Koran yesterday, but then I figured with my reading abilities it was pointless too.

I read my Bible quite often and have recently joined bible study at my church. Everything you need to know is in the Bible from how children should respect their parents, parents not bringing their children to anger, how we should love one another and respect one another, how a man should treat his wife and vice versa. I mean everything is in there and for those who don't read the word are missing out on something awesome. God Bless you abyin007!

Yes, the Bible is my daily companion. I read it early in the morning as I wake up during my quiet time and I read it again in the bus on my way to the office. At night before I go to sleep, I also meditate on God's word. The main reason why I meditate on the Bible is as written in Psalms 119: 97-112:
97 Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.
98 Your commands make me wiser than my enemies,
for they are ever with me.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers,
for I meditate on your statutes.
100 I have more understanding than the elders,
for I obey your precepts.
101 I have kept my feet from every evil path
so that I might obey your word.
102 I have not departed from your laws,
for you yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 I gain understanding from your precepts;
therefore I hate every wrong path.
n Nun
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.
106 I have taken an oath and confirmed it,
that I will follow your righteous laws.
107 I have suffered much;
preserve my life, O LORD, according to your word.
108 Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth,
and teach me your laws.
109 Though I constantly take my life in my hands,
I will not forget your law.
110 The wicked have set a snare for me,
but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Your statutes are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart.
112 My heart is set on keeping your decrees
to the very end.
