Aside from sinigang my other favorite soup base dish is Tinola. My favorite tinola is chicken tinola. I love native chicken in tinola with papaya and sili leaves. I really love the taste of tinola with fresh native chicken and fresh green papaya with lots of gingers. It is very delicious when serves hot. How about you do you love tinola too? Happy mylotting....

I love tinola with lots of ginger in it. My father would cook me tinola when I am sick, and when he migrated to the US, I miss his cooking.

I like chicken tinola too, love the taste of the soup and the fresh native chicken meat as well eating papaya, perfect for rainy season or cold weather. However, I love more "sinigang na manok" and "sinampalukang manok" than tinola.

Hi warrior! I also like tinola and yes I like native chicken and papaya! But we can't get native chicken easily, so I just normally buy a normal chicken in the market and cook tinola and sayote, sili leaves and lots of ginger, hmmm, yummy.

Every member of my family loves tinolang manok.I cook it almost every weekend per request of my kids.Though, sili leaves r sometimes unavailable in our market,I substitute it with "malunggay leaves".I love this recipe since it contains the necessary nutrients needed by our body.

Oh this made me crave for Tinola! I will definitely cook it tomorrow (actually later lol) for lunch or dinner. I prefered chicken wings for tinola, it's the tastiest part of the chicken for me. I like my mom's chicken tinola, it's the best! Though her chicken is not the native one, she will add chicken liver that makes the soup more tempting! who doesn't want the ripe Papaya or Sayote and Sili leaves for tinola?! Oh more rice please!!!

Wow! I really like tinola. Aside from sinigang, which is my top-favorite of all, tinola is on my list of favorites as well. I remember the best tinola that I have ever tasted. It was when I first visited my boyfriend's house about 6 years ago. Their tinola has fresh native chicken, not the regular chicken available in the supermarket. It was the first time I had native chicken in tinola. My future father-in-law cooked it for us. It was superb! At home, we just use the fresh regular chicken available in the supermarket. But my sister's tinola is also delicious.

yes I really like tinola. It's one of favorite Filipino food. I like native chicken better than the commercialized one though. My dad used to cook his original tinola recipe when he's at home with us. ^^,
