Have you been in a speeling bee?

I am abosolutly horrbile a spelling. I was never in an apelling bees through out elementary or highschool. However i remeber this one time in grade 12 my english teacher has a tradtition of always holding a spelling bee right before winter break; no matter what the grade. Needless to say i was out in the first round as i mispelled laboratory. Lucky for me there were other bad spellers in my class so it wasnt so embarassing.

yes during my elementary years. we are being practiced by our teachers to spell well to win in some contests. it was a great experience. .

Nope. I have never been in a spelling bee and I don't dream of being in one. I guess I'm just not good at spelling all those difficult words you hear from sounds to spell. It's nice to hear that your daughter as young as she is now is into that competition. At least even though she won third, it will challenge her to do better in the next spelling bee competition.. and maybe, she'll be national champ.
