The number of bags that I bring during a trip depends on how many days I travel but primarily I always make sure to bring one bag only. It's more convenient to bring one bag because you don't have to carry more and so that when I go back home I can still manage to bring my souvenir items and goods that I bought from my trip. I have a friend who came along with me to my holiday trip. I was a little bit annoyed because she has a lot of luggage were in fact we are just going there for 2 days. HOW ABOUT YOU? HOW MANY BAGS DO YOU OFTEN BRING DURING YOUR TRIP?^^,

well, its always good to carry as less as possible. One bag sounds like a good idea..but sometimes if you gonna go for a long time and need stuff you have to carry even more stuff ever tried going without any bags? Try it...its awesome!

My mom tried that once when she was send immediately to a meeting in Manila. She just bought her needs right after the meeting and for her it was exciting because what she only have was her handbag (phone, wallet and credit card). She stayed in a hotel so its fine since all her needs are there already. hhehehe..i might not like to try it though. ^^,

it's acceptable since you'll be gone for a week but if it could fit in one big bag then much better. ^,

If I am going by car I usually have 6 bags and if I am going by train or bus I cut that down to 2 bags. When I go on a plane because my toddler doesn't have a baggage allowance I have just one bag for the hold and one item of hand luggage. In a foreign country I bring back a costume doll for myself and gifts for my family like a t-shirt for my mum and some fridge magnets for my sister. I try to squeeze my extra things into my backpack. On an airline I have to keep the weight low, say under 15kg or under 20kg. That for me, is challenging and often my handbag gets as heavy as a brick. When I was in Australia I set some things home in parcels. Otherwise I would have had to pay for much excess baggage.

I try to just bring one bag. I am bothered with more than two bags when traveling because I would end up with just thinking about my bags when infact I should be focusing on my travel. I had an experience with a trainor who brought this huge luggage and she even asked me to shoulder some of the weights of her total luggage, thus, I ended up carrying in hand my back pack.

This is a funny discussion. Well, I bring two bags. One is for my undies (unlimited supply) and the other one is for my clothes and whatevs.

I only bring one carry-on most of the time whether it's for a two-day or two-week vacation to save me the hassle of checking in luggage. When I go for longer trips, I only bring one-week's worth of clothes and have my soiled clothes washed in the Laundromat. It always works for me.

NO matter how many days i'm going for my trip, i will only bring 2 bags..ONe of them is my luggage bag, but it's in the form of a big backpack, as well as a small bag sling bag for me to carry around when i'm at the destination ^_^ And my backpack is so big and flexible, that no matter i'm going for weeks or even one day, it can fit in almost everything and it wun be as heavy as a luggage tooo.. hehe ^_^ That's why i will always prefer my backpack when i travel ^_^

When I was single, I only carry with me a small bad wherever I go on a trip. That small bag was normally enough for a 3 days 2 nights kind of trip. After I got married, my wife and I would bring one big suitcase when we travel and that suitcase would be enough for us for the same kind of trip... When my son was born and when we travel during the time that he was still a baby, we needed to bring 2 big bags and 1 small bag. The extra things that we needed to bring was all the things that a baby would need such as diapers, milk powder, bath accessories, etc etc... Now that my son is already 18 months old, we are back to just two big suitcases and that would be enough for the three of us since we do not really need all the extra stuffs that only a baby would need. However, as he grows older, I feel that I need to start considering an additional bag again. One day, he just might want to bring his own bag and then we will be back to 3 bags per trip. Cheers!

It depends on how long I'll be gone. Normally I take 2 bags. A backpack and a luggage. If it's just for 2 days then a backpack is just perfect.
