My husband bought an Xbox for me. It's a real surprise. When we just got married and at that time I was younger and I liked playing games. Now it's different because we have a child. Last night we were sneaky to play Xbox as I don't want my child to play it. He's too little to play it. And I am afraid it'll harmful for his eyesight.
It's a late surprise
I don't know how much time we can play with it together. Perhaps when our child falls asleep

ok thanks for the information....But be careful while introducing your son to such games..Boys get easily addicted to it,and they end up playing it all the time,as they grow older.Thye give up on physical activities and even take up thier study time for playing..So you have to be strict about that...........

I am sure with their wide range of games available, you will be able to find one with a child theme.
I remember seeing quite a few of them on the shelves at the local supermarket.
Just need to go around hunting for one.
Then, with proper training and rules in place, I am sure they will not abuse the xBox. Just ensure that you and your husband enforce the rules.
Otherwise, like I said, set it up in your bedroom. You can your husband can have endless fun with it at your own time.

What a lovely surprise! Sometimes when we use something too much it doesn't have so much fun, so when you have precious time and don't get to use something often it becomes more of a treat and something to look forward to, therefore it becomes even more enjoyable! I am sure you will find the time to play and it's good you have a great relationship with your husband so that you can do things together like play games! Enjoy my friend!

Happy gaming on xbox. I also used to be a gamer and stayed quite a lot of time playing adventure or strategy games on computer.

The Xbox is a thoughtful gift from your husband. I suppose the reason he gave it to you is that with a small child you are less mobile and can't leave home as frequently as you used to earlier, so you can stay busy at home. I agree it is a little late. if he had given it to you whne th echild was in arms or a toddler, perhap you would have made better use of it. Anyway enjoy it and have fun whenever you can.

That is so sweet of your husband... to give you an xbox... most husbands would rather have the xbox for themselves... playing it with him will surely be a good way for the two of you to bond... and i also agree that your son is much to young to play with... so just do it when he is already asleep...

Why be sneaky about it?
Teach your son the importance of time management and that everything has a time and place. Including entertainment time on the Xbox.
If that does not work, set up a TV and the console in your bedroom loh!
Then you and your hubby can spend all the time to play with it in the privacy of your own bedroom!

Good evening, youless. It is so nice of your husband to get you a surprise that can bring you some entertainment in your spare time. But I don't think that it is easy for you to always hide to play the games after your little son goes to bed at night. The little boy will sure want to have a try for it. It is very easy for kids to get addicted to playing computer games. So be careful while playing the games without letting him falling in love with it. Good luck to you, youless.
