Do you know how to swim?

I learned around maybe 11 years old. I started on my own but then enrolled in a short beginners course. Now I can swim in the deep but treading and staying afloat tires me quickly. I wish I learned earlier, and were able to practice more often! I enjoy it lots. Do you know how to swim?

yes I know how to swim. We live near the sea in my province. I think if I'm not mistaken at the age 6-7 years old I was already an expert,,hehhe.. the sea has been close to me that's why I love relaxing and taking my vacation near the sea. ^^,

Thats cool. One thing that i have always wanted to learn to do is to float but my aunt had hard time teaching me. I kept getting nervous that i would drown. lol

Just relax and don't stiffen any muscle and you'd be able to. ;)

I learned when I was about 4 years old. I swim fairly well; I went to lessons for years, and had to swim for school as well.

Hello I have been swimming since I was a small child . My mom used to always have me and my brother out in the pool . We even had a pool growing up and i have one now at my own house . I just love water and it was easy for me to learn . However my fiance was taught at the Y when he was around 10 years old to swim . He likes to now and actually does perfect strokes and is a fast swimmer . Me i just do for fun .

Of course yes. I love swimming and not because I know how to swim but I just like to be on water especially in sunny days. I learned swimming not just long ago but a very unexpected one. I was afraid before to go in to deeper waters because I don't know how to swim but right now after I have learned the basics it improves my confidence and I am not afraid right now to swim in deeper part of the pool. lol

Yes i know how to swim. I honestly cant remeber how i learned how to swim though. But I absolutly love to swim. Every chance that I I try to get in as much swimming as i possibly can. If im not mistaken, i believe i learned how to swim on my own. I used to watch my father alot when we would go to the beach. So i guess i just followed what ny dad did then I soon afterwards got the hang of it.

I always have loved the water. I don't even know how old I was. All I remember is just jumping into water when I was a kid. I do remember going to the beach, though by that time I knew how to swim, I remember having hard time swimming in an ocean water. That's when I found out it's little different swimming in a pool than it is swimming in an open water. I like taking my vacation in late fall or early spring time. But on rare occasions when I take vacation during summer time, I hardly get out of the water, weather it's a pool in a hotel or the beach. I like the swimming pool in the hotels better. After while in the ocean, it does start to itch & burn from all that salt drying up on my skins.

Oh no I dont know how to swim at all. I can float though but I wont rely on that when I'm in deep water. I still prefer that my feet stay on the ground where it should be. I'm not keen into seeing myself die of drowning. It will make me look ugly coz of bloated belly and my position of hands and feet too. It's not pleasant to even think about. LOL

I don't know how to swim. However, I don't think I'll ever be able to learn how to swim because I'm scared of depths in which I cannot feel my feet on the bottom. *scared*

i learned how to swim at the age of around 5. I was never scared of the water. I always thought it was a lot of fun. I would always jump in when i got ready to swim. Swimming is fun.

I don't know how to swim very well. But in reality, you only need to know how to swim well enough to save your life, and that's just what I can do. Otherwise you'll always find me in the shallow end of a pool. Treading water has also proved difficult for me.
